Sabbath time is time set aside...
Sabbath time is time set aside for personal reflection and quiet. When was the last time you really spent time simply being. Not playing on your phone or computer, not mediation or journaling, simply relaxing, enjoying your life, savoring the moment?
I've been on my first of 8 small sabbatical weeks this year, and have discovered how very difficult it is for me to unplug when I'm at home near all my electronics. And so many of the things I do with my time, are simply habitual. They don't really add to the quality of my life.
This week I have rested some. My next sabbatical week I will focus more on rejuvenating. What really rejuvenates me? it's not computer games or TV, I know that much.
What really rejuvenates you? And are you taking the time, prioritizing the time, to do/be this? When was the last time you did?
Let's make a commitment together, that in this year of Joyous Freedom, we will joyously enter into free sabbath time, of our own making and choosing. When is yours?

I'm totally with you on this one. I need to schedule in some sabbitcals as well. I need to really incorporate the sabbath as a spiritual practice. I commit!
