Be Love - A Message to all of us
The President was scheduled to be at the same hotel in Denver that our UCSL Leadership Gathering was being held. For three weeks, people had been trying to connect with him, so maybe he'd stop by, or at least hear of who we are. The fund-raiser, held on the same night as our banquet, was $1000 per person to get in. A teen managed to do what the adults couldn't accomplish. No matter your politics - notice the self-respect, passion, and commitment this young man has. Notice how he isn't deterred, and how he enlists others on his way.
And his message - it's simple - "Be Love" - answer everything by being love. The wrist bands he talks about, the teens handed out to everyone at the Gathering. Reminding us all it's not only what we get, but mostly who we are and also what we give that fulfills us and makes our lives meaningful.
