Blue Vmeme - Truth Force
Blue Vmeme - Truth Force
The Blue Vmeme is the swing back to "we" and seeks to correct the problems of the red. Blue is seeking order, truth, rules, and something higher and larger that will bring some stability to the chaos of everyone simply trying to impose their own will on everyone else. Most traditional western organized religions function in the blue. And the reason they are finding so much support in Third World countries is the same reason a blue worldview is required to deal with troubled teens or gang related violence.
Blue seeks absolutes and loves the certainty of black-and-white thinking. This is the job we do in our younger years, when we are trying to understand right from wrong. It's challenging to teach a 4 year old not to lie, but that "white lies" are okay. They need the clarity of structure and they need to know how it is, how it works, and what will keep them out of trouble or "in good graces" with their parents. If blue is involved in service to the great good, it is done out of a sense of duty and because it's the "right thing to do."
In New Thought we can be very concerned with and committed to truth - the idea that there is an "absolute truth" and we not only can know it, but that our lives are better when we follow it. Unfortunately, so many folks have been wounded by their childhood tradition, which almost always was blue, that there can be a rebellion against any idea that there is a "truth" other than "my truth" or that there is any need for structure, form or the order that comes from knowing what works and what doesn't.
The blue also has its healthy and unhealthy expressions. Healthy blue brings rules and structure so that children and seekers can feel safe. However, taken too far, it can suppress individual expression and require that each person subsume their individual needs and wants to the greater "truth" or greater "good", which, of course, leads to a new round of development.
