Yellow and Turquoise
Spiral Dynamics 2nd tier only has Yellow and Turquoise as these are just now emerging in the developing human consciousness. There have been many people who have reached these levels in mystical or higher states of consciousness, but now there are beginning to emerge in humanity as a whole, not just in "special" individuals.
Yellow is a swing back to the individual, and expresses the value of constant learning, growing and unfolding. Yellow is especially good at sensing order out of chaos, because this viewpoint values the big picture, structures that integrate rather than divide, and the flow of evolution in systems and people. In the Yellow worldview, science and spirituality become reconcilable; chaos and change are seen as natural processes; and technology is embraced, tempered by guiding principles and values. Since Yellow is the beginning of the 2nd tier, this worldview values and incorporates the healthy aspects of each of the preceding viewpoints these guiding principles and values.
Turquoise is the newest mergence and swings us back to the "we". From this perspective, we really are all one. Life is a synergy of creativity, flow, and emergence that is guided by a deep view of the Whole. Planetary and global perspectives become compelling beyond the narrow confines of the personal, state, nation or company. Here the drive is toward a whole, healthy, new world that values each unique individual while seeking planetary well-being for all beings with whom we share this beautiful globe .
Our Community here is Dallas has people who are definitely moving into the Yellow. Our philosophy, the Science of Mind, seems to be deeply embedded in the Turquoise. I look forward to seeing how all this unfolds as we continue to learn, grow and develop together.
